

Catherine practices in the area of business law and civil litigation. She has experience in federal appellate court in both civil and criminal matters having previously worked for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Catherine also has experience in administrative law having worked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She also worked for the Department of Justice in consumer protection litigation.
Catherine was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, and attended Aquinas High School before attending the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy with honors. She then attended Emory University School of law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate with honors and served as the Book Review Editor for the Journal of Law and Religion. After law school, she was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and worked for two years as an attorney for the Eleventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. She then worked for three years for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, serving in a policy role, before joining Hull Barrett. She enjoys spending time with her husband Peter, her sisters, and the rest of her family here in Augusta.
